Illinois has agreed, for now, not to enforce its new medical aid-in-dying law against physicians and religious groups suing to invalidate it. Valderrama of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois entered a stipulated temporary restraining order Aug. 21, blocking the state from enforcing the End of Life Options Act against the plaintiffs after it takes effect Sept.
